Presidential Service Award
The President’s Volunteer Service Award program was created as a way to thank and honor Americans who, by their demonstrated commitment and example, inspire others to engage in volunteer service. FMC Family & Community Services is a registered Certifying Organization and through Operation H.O.P.E. awards our volunteers with one of the highest honors – presidential recognition.
Operation H.O.P.E. offers the following services to aid individuals and families in need:
- Emergency Food – Emergency groceries to those in need.
- Education & Enrollment – Community outreach and individual application assistance to families interested in learning more about the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), Medicaid, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, formerly Food Stamps), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Social Security (SSI), Medicare, and long-term care services.
- Clothing – Free clothing and household goods to individuals and families in need.
